Today I was on the top of the Sciliar. What an experience! In only five minutes, I walk from the cable car of the Seiser Alm/Alpe di Siusi back to my holiday flat. I get a cool beer, a piece of “speck” (bacon) and some “Schüttelbrot” from the kitchen and sit down on the balcony. My gaze glides over the horizon of the small mountain village of Siusi, I see the Puflatsch, the Rosszähne, Tschapit, the ruins of castle Hauenstein and the woods up to the Sciliar, which rises majestically in front of me into the evening sky. What a sight – as if he was only there for me. That is mySciliar. I am completely relaxed and deeply enjoy the moment.
The chimes of the church bells reminds me suddenly that the others are waiting for me in the sauna. While I slip into my bathrobe, I think about the plans for tomorrow. Maybe play golf on the 18-hole course of the Golf Club of S.Vigil Siusi? A morning walk and a refreshing swim in the “Völser Weiher” (our local pond)? Or a mountain-bike tour? First of all relaxation is on the agenda, I still have time.
“Ting”. The lift is coming. I smile contentedly as I stroll into the spa and think to myself: “Yes, I have time. What a luck.”
